What is the meaning of "EMPIRE"?

In Webster's dictionary it means the characteristic of a style popular in early 19th century in France. In other dictionary it means supreme power; sovereignty; dominion. But in my heart it only means.... FRIENDSHIP.

I met so many people when I entered college. They have different personalities. But i'll never forget those people who were there for me all the time. We stick together through laughter, sadness and even foolishness. Empire is very easy to get along with. Maybe we look arrogant cause we look like we're gonna start a fight somewhere when we're together. Most of the time we act like we're insane. haha!!

Like any other group. We experienced so many challenges, different kinds of problems, stories. There are some misunderstandings.. But at the end we're still together.

Who are these EMPIRE??

Angel - a girl that loves Hello Kitty so much! She acts like she's not 19 years old! ^_^
Neriza - twin sister of Marie! Like this cat(Marie), she's very affectionate!
Leslie - the most mysterious and secretive among us. You never know what's on her mind.
Hanna - a girl that has a very fragile heart.She's so sweet and caring!
Charmaine - "libistick" a word I can't forget about her. ^_^ She's full of confidence.
Luene - a very strong girl. Don't ever underestimate her! She's small but terrible.
Ruzielyn - mother of POOH!^_^ She always evolves whenever there's an occasion. She's the beauty queen of Empire.
Mheryll - Tweety Bird lover! Hello Kitty is her mortal enemy! ^_^ She's very jumpy, even if it's just a curtain touching her legs!
Janine - well that's me.. I'm such a moody person. If I don't like you, I'll tell it straight to you.

Jones - He's very wise! He's the baby of Empire.

Rommel - He's quiet, but when he spoke, it's either you'll laugh out loud or you'll hit by the words he's saying.

Jerome - He's very kind! He loves to play Dota!

Vic - His intelligence is not quite obvious to him cause he sleeps in class. But when our prof asks him about our lesson, *sniff* *sniff* "okay nosebleed!!^^"

Keith - i think he knows all kinds of martial arts. haha!! He's very conscious about himself.
Anthony - a boy who loves music. The "rakista" of Empire!^_^

Rio - a boy that has a very few formal pictures. His pictures were all wacky!!

Janfred - ultimate lover boy! He has so many things to say about love. Among the empire boys, he's the one I trust the most.

Jazrie - anime lover. He's very good in his major subjects! He's the one who gave our barkada name as EMPIRE.

See that? We have different personalities. But we always act as ONE. We don't bother the differences between us. We love to EAT, watch movies and EAT !^_^

Last time I checked, we're 18. And now, we're starting to diminish. Charm migrated to Alaska and last time I heard about Jerome he'll transfer to another school. And soon, some of us will graduate.

Even if some of us will leave, I'm hoping that they'll never forget anything about us, about Empire. And hopefully the friendship will remain. This semester, I wish our bonding will be as strong as we're like before.

No matter what happen "Empire will always and forever be Empire" (I hope... *sigh*). ^_^

Friendship that Never Fades

Have you ask yourself if your friends were true to you?

They say that it takes time to find a true friend.

Well, it's true cause it takes 14 years for me to find them.

One of them is my classmate since I was in grade school. The other one is my neighbor since birth but I didn't get a chance to meet her since were kids cause I don't want to play outside our house. And the other 2 were from same school during grade school so they knew each other personally. When we're in 2nd yr highschool we had a chance to be close to each other. It feels like were destined to meet other.

Sometimes we misunderstood each other, but at the end of the day, we just laugh cause we realize that the cause of that misunderstanding is just nothing.

And now we're already college students, we still didn't forget the moments we shared together. Every vacation or free time, we spend time together. Nothing change between us, instead we became closer to each other.

I remember the time that we planned to have a house someday and we'll live together. I'll never forget that day cause that's time that we start to dream together. And someday our dream house will come true.

Everytime that I have a problem, I'll just text them and we'll go to one's house to talk. Whenever they're around, it feels like I don't have any problem. Cause whenever I'm with them, all I do is laugh, laugh till my tummy aches.

They're the kind of people that will tell whenever there's something that they don't like about you or the things you do.

Let me introduce them to you...

Y - Ylva.. a girl that has a great humor, she makes us laugh even at the serious time.. :))

R - Reylie... the fashionista.. gothic? gyaru? decora? even gang guru.. tell it and she'll dress up like them :))

I - Izabell.. *moo..* *moo..* oh it's carla! haha!! I always bully that girl! haha!! But seriously, I love how strong she is in facing her problems!^_^

E - Edrian.. the most quiet among us.. well he's already quiet if you'll compare him to us.. :))

And of course... JYRIE won't be complete without J.. and that's me.. JANINE ^_^

The Hardest Part

How can you possibly move on?


When all you think about is him?

Moving on is the hardest part of love. It's like someone's stabbing you for several times, that you were burning alive. That's how painful it is.

You don't know when will the pain ends. Sometimes it last for years. And sometimes you thought that you've already move on but when you see him, you remember everything in the past, like some kind of a flash back in some drama movies.

If you're forcing yourself to move on, you're just hurting yourself more than ever. You're just bringing all those memories back and hoping that there's still another "YOU and HIM".

Someone told me before:

"Try to use somebody else to forget him!"

But I didn't do it. I don't want to add those people who suffer from lying and cheating of another man.

But how could we move on?
This is the question that everyone ask.

For me, going out with my friends the whole day makes me feel that I have no problem at all, that I'm not suffering from any kind of pain. If you choose to be alone, you're just putting yourself in much sorrow. If you're alone, that's the time that you remember everything that happened to your life including your past relationship with him.

You may not know, maybe there's someone out there that's just waiting for you to move on. And he'll be the one who'll never hurt you. And will never make you cry.

Go out with you friends! Live your life to the fullest! Explore the world! Nobody wants to live in pain and grief.
